I'm really looking forward to this camp out! There's nothing that makes me happier than being at the beach and sitting in the sun all day. Have we talked about potlucks yet? Are they being contemplated?

I was wondering about potlucks today too.  I wouldn't mind them but being that we may be spread out, not sure how realistic it is.

For the potlucks we are thinking of monkey rolls for breakfast and for dinner cheesy potatoes.

Hi Wayne,

As far as I know we will be coming down with our friends and will be using there trailer. I will get more details tonight and let you know. Will it be cold at night, windy, hot..? I have no idea. DW may not be coming as we have an exchange student who has to be in a class all day Saturday and someone needs to take him. Still some details to be worked out...of course right at the last minute.

Looks like low to mid 70's during the day and low 60's at night. The wind is very unpredictable there. It may be calm one day and blow the next.

They really don't care what size trailer you bring as long as you don't exceed your (45'-55' long) parking space.

I wish I knew. The person that PM'd me withheld that info (I'm sure they had a good reason) .... :confused: I don't even know if it is "For Sure".....Just wanted to let it out that there "May" be a cancellation coming up...

Okay everyone - mystery solved.  It is us that is cancelling.  I just found out Tuesday that I got the position as Reading Coach for our school!  (woohoo) But it means I'm learning a new position and I have been (happily) working 12 hour days since getting moved out of my classroom and into my office (love it) and helping teachers get ready for tomorrow.

The site we were using was a site that Dee had.  I thought she cancelled it so I didn't realize you were looking for us.  I am sincerely sorry and hope that it's not too late for Oreo!  

We will see ya'll in October - even early that day since I no longer need a substitute!  YEEHA!

Have fun - and again, sorry for the unintentional confusion!

As much as I hate to see DK&3kids not make it, I'm glad to see that it all worked out for oreo57 (and Dee :p )
