It shows the sites available but when I click on "Book Now" it says, "Inventory is not available. Site cannot be booked." :banghead:

Hello fellow campers. Hope everyone is gearing up, getting the trailers ready for another year of cactus cool...er ah I mean... camping...ha.

I have some info that should make someone happy. I have booked a reservation at Pt Magu for June 12 through June 16 in the Thornhill Priitive site. I beleive this is where evereyone is trying to get reservations. Well, I have this spot reserved and it paid for, but now we can't go. So... it is up for grabs if anyone wants to take it from us.
I don't know if you can just take my reservation info with you or do I need to cancel and you reserve if that is possible before someone else gets it. From what it sounds like the web site is not working? Total cost $67.50. ( $60 use fee and $7.50 transaction fee).

Upon receipt of payment I would be happy to email the reservation info to you. Let me know.  Please PM me. I may not get back to you today but tomorrow I will check PM's. Thanks.

I don't want it, I have an extra site already...I was just wondering .. You may want to hold on to it for awhile as it gets closer someone may take. that way you save the cancellation fee.

just an FYI the cancellation fee is $14.50  :banghead:   not $7.50 like one would think. it's  the $7.50 reservation AND a $7.00 change of reservation fee  :swear:

Jamesdad

Thanks Dee,

I have it if anyone is interested. Just let me know. I don't think I would have to cancel it? Just give the reservation info to who ever?

Thanks, Jamesdad

Exactly....if you hold on to it.. you can maybe get someone to buy it off you and you won't lose the fees..you can cancel a couple days before and still get your money back (less the $14.50)

I will post on the first page you have a site available so any newcomers can see it

If anyone is interested, we went to Pt Mugu this weekend and I took some pics of the parking and beach area:

In pic #7, you will see that we could easily park 3 cars beside our camper. Our space goes all the way to the back of that motorhome, in front of us.

I took that piture just for you Dee :D

Actually, he could have come out another couple feet. I wasn't even as far out as I could have been and we had about 4' of pavement outside our door.

The Dolphins came and put on a surfing exposition, right in front of our campsite. It was really cool watching them playing in the surf, with the sun going down behind the waves as they rode them in, nearly to the beach. There were hundreds of them. We got so caught-up in the moment that I forgot to run back to the camper and get the camera.

The weather was absolutely perfect except the wind came up at about 4:AM. I had to get out and take the awning down. I know better than to leave the awning up over-night there. We just got lulled into complacency. :o
