I think that it' just a matter of courtesy to ask.........

While you are asking......you might just ask if PUT is willing to participate in the cost of the t-shirts, if you put "Pop Up Times" on them.

We could even take a picture of the group in the t/shirts that they could print in the magazine.... :-()

How about...since alot of us like the first one...to put it around the sun, leaving the rainbow colors in it as you see it now? On a blue shirt, that would stand out nice. Would you have to modify the letters much from there current shape for it to fit...your the expert, let us nkow. Thanks for doing this Mr. D.

Ok I wrapped the first one around the son without changing the words.  In my opinion it looks like an Orange, but you decide

Hey Dieter,
We're OK with rallies and clubs using our logo.
You can use the attched  logo. If you spell it out it's  Pop UP Times.  
If you use your own design use Wordart, font=impact, Aa=on like the one I attached.
I can't subsidize your t's but I can arrange door prizes. Just let know when and where to send them.
