Hello All,
I'm reaching out to anyone who knows the name of the "rail" that connects the table to wall. I'm trying to find out the name of the   male(for lack of better understanding) end that is mounted on the back of end of the inside/outside table or cooktop. I am building an external table and this elusive item is the missing piece of the puzzle. Thanks in advance for your help!

Spring is around the corner!

Have you phoned a RV dealer's parts counter? They'd know and probably have one.
Also, check the phone book for salvage (junk) yards, call around and see if there is a wrecked trailer on the lot. You may be able to remove one for a dollar.

Just a thought,

Aluminum Extruded Cleat.

How's that sound?

Call StarcraftRV (260)593-2550  and see if they can sell you a couple feet of it.  It's probably something universal in the RV world, so may not be hard to find at all once you know what "they" call it.

Wait a minute ... was'nt that called the doohickey rail ...?

You will need to know the width of the channel. I think that they come in sizes ranging from 1/4" up to 2".

Thanks for all the responses guys! I loved the "doohickey" I even used the extruded one with a dealer yesterday and they looked like a deer in the headlights and then tried to sell me a RVQ :-). Thanks again.

Austinado,
On a side note, How do you like the GMC? My neighbor is looking to unload a 1990 GMC Burban. It has been sitting in his garage for 2 years with the occasional fire it up and run it around the block. No real leaks or body issues to naked eye. I am finding it very hard to not buy it. So any good reasons not to purchase would save me a long discussion with the boss (my wife).  :D

Thanks,
RG

That's why I LOVE this board - just ask and someone either knows the answer.... or will find it for you.

You folks are AWSOME!  :-()
