We may be passing through and do an overnight on Sat. at the Banning KOA. It all depends if we are able to head out in a decent hour Sat afternoon. DD and DH have a soccer game Sat morning and we have reservations Sunday for 5 nights at Carpinteria. We thought we could cut the trip in half if we head out on Sat. Banning is a little more than half way.

If we do we will have to stop by and say, "HI."  So look out for some Arizonians passing through.

Enjoy your weekend.

That would be so cool if you guys do stop in banning.  :-()  I can guarantee you guys will get a warm welcome and I personally will give you guys a glass of wine. I am also the guy that told you about Carp CG and the drifters coming by at night, so it would be great to put a face to the name. :D

griffsdad

I'll be there after work. See everyone there tonight.

Just a reminder, I just remembered that this CG doesn't have firepits so if you happen to have one, please bring it.   I know Dee, and I are all bringing one.

See you later on.

Thank you Kim and all the happy campers for a wonderful time.
My boys and I had a great time. Edwin is convinced that potlucks ARE the way to go camping so he will be talking me into going to more rallies.
Brian is still talking about apples and berries.
It was great meeting all the new-to-me people and reuniting with those  I've met before. It's great to go from wrestling diapers to just monitoring the party they're having on their own while sitting out by the fire.

I know I sent Gracie and perhaps others on the wrong route home. The 210 does connect to the 10, BUT the 215 won't have a real  interchange with the 210 until 2013. I ended up trying from the 215, only to end up taking a few surface streets to make the transition. Sorry bout that.
I knew they were going to open a chunk of it last year a week after I needed it, but I didn't know that what was connecting to the 330.

hatlet

thanks to everyone for making it another great camping weekend. see you at doheny in nov.

We had a great time..it was a little cold but the 5ther was nice and warm, I love my new digs..so did the little ones..at least they were warm...finally kicked them out and made it to the campfire for a little while...it was too cold for me..Pot lucks were wonderful with the warm room and all...nice to meet the new people and see the campers we don't see that often..like Shirleen, Carl, and lois and Howard..We are looking forward to Santa Paula.  Thanks to Kim and Rich for all their hard work making this a great campout...
