Hey Jeanne  (especially Jim)

One more note.

There is no gas in the park - so make sure you fill up just before you enter.  If you are going in via 198 that last place to gas up is Three Rivers.  If you are going via the 180 I am not certain, so Fresno is your best bet.

At the campground in the overflow parking lot - on our way to our campsites is the dump station with fresh water to fill up our tanks.  A better choice than carrying an extra 300lbs.

On the recreation.gov site for Lodgepole it states "Bicycles and mountain bikes are not allowed on park trails. Skateboards, scooters, and inline skates are not allowed on park trails or roads, including in the campground"  I am not sure if you want to bring you electric scooters, I just thought I would point this out.

Okay, let me know if there is anything else...

Beach camping is pretty sweet!  But the smell of pines trees can be intoxicating too!  Be careful on those twisty roads!

Hey Harald,
How much do we owe for the campsites?  I don't think we paid yet...

58Air

Check out post 29 for the cost - it also gives you some other information that may be helpful.

We are just about packed up and ready to leave tomorrow!  If I don't hear from you guys have a safe drive.

I hope the other sccamper group enjoys the beach - maybe next year we can do a large sequoia sccamper trip.
