Hello all, thought i would try something new, well maybe not new but it is not something i have seen on here before,  I found some 1 inch closed cell styrofoam blue board, there was alot left on this jobsite, so i am wanting to cover the bottom of my pup and put some under my matresses on each end, has anyone ever tried this before, am i about to make a mistake, or is this gonna warm us up a bit????????

Under the mattresses great, as long as the extra thickness doesn't make the roof bind when you close. Or some campers have space under the wood to add insulation.
But as to covering the bottom of the camper, NO. You'll only end up causing enough cloverage to allow any condensation road spray, etc to stay and rot out the flooring. The bunk ends aren't exposed to continuous weather so their limited time "out" doesn't usually cause a condensation/moisture problem.

I use closed cell that's about 3/8" under the mattresses when we camp in the fall and it seems to help. I'm thinking of changing it to reflectix type material tho since it's alot thinner and alot of people here seem to like it better.
