Top goes up slow?

Have a 2000 Taos with electric top and it goes up slow, real slow but comes down fast. Has A.C. on top but it does have a new deep cycle battery from Wally World.

Put a fresh charge on the battery,make sure the battery cables are tight and clean, same with the ground connections, lube the lift system with silicone spray, and see what happens.
