Hello we own a 95 Jayco...and we were advised that r camper did not have the right bracing or wiring for an air conditioner...I'm looking for any options out there...like any stand alone air units...i dont want to do any cutting to the camper for any window units...i have seen them rigged up...i'm not a very handy guy when it comes to power tools...thanks

It would take up some floor space but it looks like it would be easily vented by unzipping part of the canvas, where your bunk-end canvas zips to your back canvas. You could make a boot out of Canvas and Velcro to keep the cool air from leaking out.

Even though I know that YOU don't wanna cut a hole in the camper and install a window unit etc. I'm gonna mention something anyway that I saw in a forum once about installing a window unit in a TT in case others may want too. In my opinion this person's idea was "PERFECT". What he did was instead of removing a window and putting it in and trying to brace it to the wall etc. was to cut a hole in the wall by the floor and install a larger RV access door (about the size of the AC unit) there. Then he mounted the AC unit onto these big "Industrial Strength" type sliders. (Kinda like the sliders on a kitchen drawer only stronger.) And mounted them to the floor. That way the AC unit was only outside when it actually was being used, and not constantly putting undo stress on the walls. And by using the door, it kept out the rain and snow as well

What size is your camper size and model number.  That may help with some answers.
