Hi, just bought an 07 Palomino and want to put a car stereo in it. Where would you suggest that I wire in the 12 volt power source for it? It has a 120/12 v power inverter in the trailer. How about an antenna? Thanks, Alan

Here's what I did!  I looked over the camper to see where the most logical place to put it.  Then went from there with the install.  I put mine on the side of our closet that folds up & down in front of the entry door with 1 speaker below the stereo(easy access form outside to reach) and put the other speaker by the inverter cuz I had room there.  The speakers are on both ends of the camper then I thought that it would give alittle better sound this way.  Anyway thats what I did good luck with it.  I also attached the antenna on the back side of the closet sticking up above the closet.  I dont notice any interferance where I have the antnnea now.  My closet stands about chest height.  I originally tried attaching it to the outside of the camper but got to hard to mount correctly in my eyes.  Hopefully this helps!!!

having a speaker at either end is great if you have kids too ... i.e. they are in the left bunk -- turn the balance to the right and not disturb them while they sleep.

Anyone put one (speaker) outside of the pup?

I install a stereo in our PU. take a look at my mods page below and go to the interior section. you will see how I mounted my speakers and also the antenna.
Good luck and have fun

I used Recumbentman's idea for the antenna.  It works quite well.

I ran my power directly off of the PU battery, as I didn't think it appropriate to screw around with the converter.  Besides that, have you looked behind that thing??  The wires behind mine reminded me of a plate of pasta.  I'd prefer not to add more to the mess.  Also, I would add a fuse just off of the battery in addition to the one in-line for the stereo.

You can see my stereo install here:

I put it in a cabinent.  I have a two year old who loves to push buttons, so I needed it somewhere I could close it off.

Good luck!!
