They probably are making a little more than that, but, with the extras you listed above, I think you still are getting a good deal.  It now comes down to how you feel about the deal.

Congrats!  Does that mean your tent will left home for the fishing trip? You'll love the new pup.  I think my pup sets up faster than the three room tent we used to schlep around.  Congrats again.

The next thing you'll need is a bigger TV.  If your ride is only rated for 6500, that's a little light for that monster PUP especially when you get it loaded with all your campgear, kayak, bikes etc.  I personally don't like to exceed 50% on my TV capacity.  I would if it were a monster 5W and I was pulling with a massive dually 1.25 ton truck.  Not with the small econo SUV though.  Make sure you have a transmission cooler and allow plenty of time for braking distance.

Oh I almost forgot.  Go enjoy your pup and go camping!

gee thanks, although I have never considered a landcruiser an "economy suv"

Congratulations on your new camper!  I don't think you will have any problem towing it with your TV.  Any idea where you will go on your first trip?  I suggest that you take along a pad and pen/pencil to write down what you need for the camper.:)

They are certainly not an economy SUV in price paid, but in size and tow capacity.  You have to admit they certainly aren't a Yukon or an Excursion.  Those are full sized SUV.  Towing capacity around 8900lbs.  I like a landcruiser.  I especially like the old school Range Rover Landcruisers.  Those things were bullet proof.
You'll be fine pulling your pup.  I just like to have plenty of excess capacity in case I need it.  I also like the fact that it has very little wear and tear on the TV when it is well over capcitized.  I'm just opinionated that way.  If you ask people on here, they'll probably tell you I'm always opinionated in some way.

Quote from: jbbOkay, here is what I got so far.  07 Arcadiia.  List at 16,500.00  on sale for 12,995.00.  This price includes, A/C installed,  two full propane tanks, battery, battery wiring, awning, sewer line, gift certificate to store for water hoses etc, inspection and set up tutorial.

The salesman told me he had just taken in a wdh with sway bars on a trade and that he would throw those in for free at a value of approx 400.  So all I would have to do is have my brake controller installed.

Going to probably offer 12K today.  I have a kayak trout fishing trip planned for memorial day with a little luck  hopefully I can leave the tent at home and sleep in my new pup

So how did it work out?

Oops, sorry.  I didn't realize there was a page 3.  I already know how it worked out.  Sounds to me like you did real good!
