Anyone been to Acorn, Buena Vista or Keen Lake

We're planning another camping trip and wanted to try someplace new.  Has anyone been to Acorn and/or Buena Vista in New Jersey, or Keen Lake in Pennsylvania?

The Buena campground is very close to my house so I decided to go for a last minute weekend getaway with the kids last year. First of all the pamphlet is deceptive. That great looking water slide is extra, $13 per child per day extra, mini golf is also extra.  The lake is very small. As for the pool, they rent out the pavillions to parties with use of the pool, so it's crowded. Within an hour of arriving my daughter's bike was stolen by one of their teen-aged lifeguards. I'd have to say it was not a pleasant experience :confused: .

I stayed at Acorn last yr, but didn't spend much time at the campground because I was in town for a reunion & really only used it as a place to sleep. I will say that the staff was friendly. There were quite a few seasonals in the park, but popups & tents were in a separate loop which made it rather nice. The sites were roomy & shaded by trees. The bath house in our end was old, but well maintained. Despite the wknd summer crowd, the place was really quiet at night.

The Pop Up Times Eastern Rally is going to be held at Keen Lake this summer July 13 to the 18th.  I visited the campground during the winter, so I don't have any camping experience there.  It looked nice and the staff was very helpful.  You are welcome to join us at the rally.  There is more information on the rally in the forum's rally section.
