adjustable height door?

I've adjusted the cables quite a few times after I replaced all of them last year, and I still have some fidgety problems when the roof goes up and I put the door frame in place.  I often have to 'overcrank' the roof beyond the marks I made on the poles as the 'right' height for the door to fit, (per starcraft's instruction manual) and often have to adjust back and forth because the door fits so tight.  The door has a solid piece of aluminum that is hinged at the top corner of the roof box to allow it to fold up for storage.

On my other Starcraft, which was a smaller 1976, but had many of the same design features - the  top of the door hardware had a kind of spring adjustment at the top just under the hinge, but still, above the roof wall -  that allowed for the door to adjust a bit up and down without having to re-set the whole roof height.  (and it still had a plate below those springs, that sealed the top of the door against the roof bax, to keep out rain and bugs)

Does anyone have something like this on their camper?  I'd like to try and re-create it on my camper, but I can't remember the details of what it looked like or how to do it.  It's difficult to describe the parts, not having seen them for years....

If you know what I'm talking about, or can post a photo, or have any ideas how I can make this change, I'm open to to suggestions.  I'm tired of having it too tight  by 1/8" to 1/2" on one side of the door frame and fit fine on the other side.

Thanks!

I wish I could help you.  I have a Fleetwood, so the doors are not the same.  My issues with door fit/securing are generally if my PUP is not leveled properly.  Maybe by my response, it will bump the thread back to the top and someone will have an answer for you.
