I just bought an older pop-up a few months back. I just put new tailights on and am in the process of getting all the marker lights working. 4 markers aren't working. When I put my tester light on the contacts, it lights. But when I put the bulb in it it won't light. It's not the bulb, because when I put it in a working light it works. Also, I sanded the contacts since they were corroded but they still didn't work. Any ideas?

I don't use tester lights because their results can be misleading.  It take voltage and ground to fire a light bulb, so use a voltage/ohm meter and find out what you're using.

You know you have corroded sockets/contacts so you may want just replace the light assemblies and start fresh.  By the time you're done messing with the old ones, you'll probably wind up having to go new anyway.

I'd say to check your wires from the pigtail - if you have the Bargman trailer Harness - it's the green wire that does the tail, tag and marker lights.

If there is the slightest corrosion, you might want to clean the contacts (emery cloth or board) and apply a smidget of di-electric grease (available at any auto parts store).

Best wishes.
