Awning broke! Help. Buy Coleman or Trim Line Awning?

Just our third camping trip in our new Fleetwood awning and we've already broken our awning.  On this trip we connected our new add-a-room to our awning as instructed.  After a heavy rain, we woke up to our awning and add-a-room on the muddy ground.  We can get a new Coleman awning (with a few pinholes in the bag) for $250 or buy a Trim Line awning on ebay for $175.  Are they equal in quality?  Any suggestions on making an awning ourselves?  We decided to sell the add-a-room on ebay and just use an awning an screen tent.

I would think any after market awning would be better than the awning that comes from fleetwood. next time remember to angle down one corner of the awning for the rain water to run off.
