I got a chance today to get the camper open this year, ready to try to get everything to work. I've got a 1992 Starcraft Starmaster, to refresh your memory, I'm the one that got it for $25.  http://www.arveeclub.com/showthread.php?t=64406

I wire brushed the frame in the front and was finally able to get all the ground offs, they were rusted so bad, that the nuts stripped instantly and I had to take a cut off wheel to them. I didn't get to redo them because I left my electrical box at home and I didn't really want to goto Home Depot today.  Sorry I didn't get pictures of the grounds.  I got some pictures of the Wiring the previous owner mutilated.

Sorry, I thought they were OK pictures, I took them with my BlackBerry and they look good on the phone, but look like garbage on the computer, but they'll serve their purpose for now.

This is the mess that I have to sort out with the wiring.  The lights won't be an issue because they're wired up to the Flat 4 so they're already sorted, but all the other are going to be fun.  There was a battery but it was cached and I forgot to take pictures or write down how it was hooked up, oops.  Also, if anyone knows where to get the harness that hooks into that square harness that goes to the TV that would be AWESOME.

Second question, I don't see an arrow, line or indicator of any sorts that shows you what you have that dial set too.  Does anyone know?

It took awhile and a lot of blowing with the air compressor to get this thing to light, but it finally went and stayed lit.  I am going to have to figure out how to get the thermocouple replaced and why it doesn't work on DC, but again that's another day.  I already know that glowing orange shouldn't be there, I found another picture on here of the flame.

Now This concerns me like no other.  This is the bare copper ground from the Converter and it's clamped directly to the Propane line.  Now, I don't know if Starcraft did this or if previous owner(s) did this.    But this just doesn't seem right to me.

I've got my work cut out for me the back right corner wall and floor is all rotted out and my patch on the roof didn't work through the sixty some inches of snow this winter so the ceiling is bubbling a little more, but solid...for now.

Six weeks til we go camping.  Anyone looking for some extra work?!? :-P

I believe that the gas line is wired in this way to protect it from things like static shock and such.  In this way if there is ever a current flow to the gas line at any time it will have a place to go to earth.
Others will hopefully agree or give you the correct answer.
