Couldn't find the one on clearance at Basspro, but Walmart has a nice one on sale and it's gotten a ton of excellent reviews. Unless I find one I like better, I think I'm getting one.

Ordered one.  $31 including tax.  Free shipping to have it sent to our local store.

That's the one I have. I love it, and it only takes a couple of minutes to set up. One thing though, be sure to stake down the corners as it is a bit unstable if the wind picks up ( Tipped the potty right over, good thing I wasn't on it at the time!LOL!)

Oh cool!  Nice to know someone here has one and likes it.....and thanks for the advice on staking it down.

I looked all over last night and all I could find was either the $40 Stansport one in dark green or blue, or the $130 ones that collapse and stand up with elbow joints in the poles.  I was surprised there wasn't more variety.

I like that this one had a boat-load of good reviews and most importantly, it matches my "late 80's Starcraft tan" motif. :U

I see //www.campmor.com has the cedar wood floor for them for another $32, so I may go with one of those too.

I really like the idea of these portable shower / potty shelters.  What about the grey water?  All the campgrounds I've stayed in require capturing grey water.  Personally, I don't see a problem showering with organic soap, and letting it drain into the ground, but I'm not sure how park rangers feel about that.

I don't know about that either.  It's going to be an outhouse for us and that's about it.

I know you have said you already ordered one, but did you see the K-Mart add for a double size potty/shower eclosure?  I think it was on sale for 39.99.

Some places won't let you put these up at all. I think there was a thread about this not too long ago. If I remember correctly it was the Army Corps of Engineers campgrounds and the ranger didn't know why they weren't allowed.
As far as grey water goes, some folks put a square 5 gal washtub in the tent and stand in it while they shower.
I just use mine for the portapotty.

No, I didn't see it.  Online or in the local news paper?

JohnandLeann

The add was in the Sunday Santa Maria Times.  My MILaw gets the paper or I would not have seen it either.  You can go to Kmart's site and look through the adds and find it that way also.  I have been searching through on line adds for things lately also.

Off sub.
I am looking for sales on a certain ice chest myself, and the cheapest place is at Amazon.com so far.

We've used that same unit for a couple years. IMO, I'ts a pain in the neck to set up. I just bought a new one that "Pops-up" in just a few seconds. However, it will need to be secured better than this one if there is wind.

austinado16

I would have gone for one of the "pop-up" ones if they weren't a hundred-thirty something.

Here's that double one at KMart.  Pretty cool idea if you're up for something that large.....

Oh, right. I saw those versions too.  Wasn't sure I wanted that style though.

We'll see how this one does, and then go from there.

JohnandLeann

Yup.  That's the one I saw on sale.  We don't have a need for one yet.  Have an old potty that is broken and kinda nasty too.  Need to replace it first.
