Here we go. I have the Thetford C2 built in toilet/shower in my new to us 1996 Jayco 1406. I never have used it until this past weekend. The dial turns and as I push down and turn it, the flapper does open and the waste does go down but it is not running the chemicals after use. Yesterday I took the cassete out after viewing Thetfords website to see what the problem may be. I noticed everything looked ok and I checked the 3 amp fuse. It was good. One of the things I noticed was that there are 2 electric plugs. One is plugged in to where it goes ( it only goes in one place as the other plug will not fit) and the other is not. I cannot find where it goes and there is nothing to plug it into. Is this an additional plug for another accessory or is there supposed to be another plug this goes into for a fuse? What is the best way to trouble shoot the electric power to the toilet? Is there another fuse somewhere or a breaker switch? Any and all suggestions will be much appreciated

My toilet stopped working twice out last trip. We have the cassette style. The first time all I did was slide it out and then slide it back in. It wasn't slid in all the way for the switch underneath the be activated. I thought I was good but the next day it stopped working again. This time one of the wires underneath the knob had broken from the solder. I soldered it back on when we got home and all is well.

Did you make sure that there was water and chemical in the tank? Make makes a noise when the chemical comes out, don't know if yours is the same. If it does make a noise and nothing is coming out you are empty.

Good luck

I fixed it!  :-()  The Thetford and shower that is.  I cannot believe all it was, unplugged. I took the whole thing apart and checked all the switches and the fuse. Low and behold in front of my little eyes was a plug that that was not hooked up. I hooked it up and tested before reinstalling everything and the flasher was pulsing and the pump was a pumping. I freaking cannot believe that was what the issue was. I replaced the shower hose with a new one and low and behold, it does not leak and sprays great. I am ready for another trip now. Going to Galveston State Park in 2 weeks for 4 days. I cannot wait!

Thnx, I was driving myself crazy over this thing trying to get it to work. What is best is that it cost nothing monitarily but almost cost me my sanity. :eyecrazy:
