Pardon me for asking but I cannot find this information through searching the forums.  I have a 2000 Coleman Mesa and the lid that protects the power cord on the outside is broken.  Does anyone know where I can order a replacement lid.  Not sure what it's called, a cover, a flap?  It's plastic, round and has a sliding door to pull out the cord when the lid is closed.  It's supported by 2 plastic hinges and one has broken therefore the cover does not stay on.  Thank you in advance for your help.

Those are just about standard fare for the RV industry. Probably any RV dealer would have them in stock. No doubt you won't be able to buy just the lid, rather you'll have to get the whole assembly. Still not a problem ... remove a couple of screws, might have to take one of those plastic putty knives and with the edge of the putty knife, remove the silicone sealant around the outside. Pull the old out, insert the new (you'll need to get a tube of silicone sealnt, too), seal around the outer edge of the new assembly and intall the old screws and your in business!

p/s: what you would be looking for is called a "cable hatch"

They are only about $7-$10 at a RV dealer, maybe even less. I bought one on Ebay for $2.00 that is brand new with shipping it cost me $5.25.

Be sure you measure the inside and outside diameter first of the part that fits into the camper, there are a couple of different sizes

I've never really tried pulling the "plug" through backwards, but it seems to me that he might also have to disconnect the cord in order to thread it through the new one. Wouldn't he?

No, it will pull out through the back.

I think you may have a good idea what it is.  It's simply a cover, or a flap, plastic, with a very short plastic shaft on each side that is sort of the hinge.  One of the shafts broke, so it won't hang on to the hole anymore (where the electric cord/plug is located).  I will go to an RV dealer and bring it with me.  No biggy, thanks everyone for your help.
