San Elijo for Christmas break

We just booked an ocean front site at San Elijo State Beach for Dec 20-22. There are still at least 2 ocean front hook up sites open as well as a number of non hook up sites if anyone would like to join us. We are in site number 17 and sites 19 and 20 were still open as a few mintes ago. This is one of our favorite campgrounds and we are looking forward to decorating a Christmas tree in our site on the cliff. :frosty: It seems as though this is the only time of year that we can get in there anymore. :XMas

That sounds very nice but we'll have to pass..... Thanksgiving and CHristmas are a very busy time of year for us.

wow..camping is tempting, but it's WAY too hectic around my house getting ready for xmas...after between xmas & new years would have been a possiblity

It took me 4 tries but I finally got 19. It kept saying that it was booked but I kept trying and it finally came up......next time CALL ME!!!!! :swear:

I can't be hanging around this place all the time.... I have work to do :p

Well this is my DW idea.  I think it will be a little cold, and we will probably be stressed with Xmas, but sometimes its best not to argue.

Glad you could go too, maybe since we are closer this time we will see a little more of each other.

Heck.....I didn't even look. I just took the site closest to 17.  :eyecrazy:

 Not really sure if the "hookup" sites are water elec and sewer or just water and elec.  Doesn't matter to us.  This will be the first time we have had a bluff side site.

I just looked on the california coastal records picture and the RV in our site has his door and awning facing the beach.  Not a bad idea...

There are still some none hook up sites left and even a few hook ups if anyone is interested.  The water front spots are all gone, but its still a great CG!!

We try to stay within the 1.5 hour range from Los Angeles since gas is so high now.  But that place really looks tempting!
