We are thinking of staying one more day and not leaving until Tues. I will let you know if we get the extension.  Trailer Village doesn't have showers so we have to use the ones at Mather Campground if we don't want to use our own.

I will keep you posted. I am going to call today to try to extend it. Being it is during the week I hope it will be easier to keep our spot.

I almost mentioned Zion, but wasn't sure if you'd have time for it too.  The other thing you really ought to opt for is a tour through the Hoover Dam about 30m south of Lost Wages.  It's mind bending......and then you realize it was done in the 30's and completed ahead of schedule.

Mary, we called yesterday and had no problem remaining in our site.  You'll probably get to as well.  One thing I really loved about the GC is how clean the campground bathrooms are, and how nice and clean the shower/laundry building is, there next to Mather.  Very impressive.
