Lake George RV Park

Hey Yall,  we're planning a trip to lake george rv park the last week of july, and we were wondering what were the can't miss local attractions or maybe not all that local, mainly what is around the area to do in the way of day trips.
thanks for the input , this will be our first trip that far north with our pup, so just looking for suggestions.

What kind of things are you looking to do? There is the Great Escape Park which is a Six Flags Park.

Going up Prospect Mt. is well worth it for the view. http://www.adk.org/trails/ProspectMountain.aspx

There is a nice bike path that goes throughout the area.

There are also a lot of ponds and/or lakes you could kayak/canoe on. You are also close to many hiking trails that will offer great views of the Adirondack Mountains.
