OK. I put this thread up on Mr. Fixit this afternoon and it disappeared. Now, I'm back, trying again.

I am fixing up my 1999 Coleman Santee to sell and I found that the bow supporting the tent over the big bed was missing the bracket where the shepherd's crook makes contact. As a result, the bow is bent and crimped in the center. I doubt that it can be repaired or used again. I know that I can go to a Fleetwood dealer that sells popups. I'm concerned that the Coleman brand has been bounced around and is virtually discontinued. Does anyone know of another option for getting one of these bows? I think I might have the popup sold. I've sent photos and he is pretty interested. Now, the bent bow.... Anyone have any ideas?

I decided to call the nearest Fleetwood dealer (American RV in Olive Branch, MS). To my surprise, the parts department guy found the "bow" I need in his database and I will be able to pick it up in about two weeks. It cost about $77 plus shipping. I was expecting about twice that much. Oh, when I used the term "bow" to describe the part I need, he didn't know what I was talking about. I had to describe the location and function in a couple of different ways before he understood. He said, "Yeah, we don't deal with popups much anymore." Unfortunately, I didn't ask him what his database called it.
