Potluck Supper - Whatcha bringin' ?

Ive never heard of Perogies and had to Google it, THAT sounds amazing...There are so many recipes with the differant styles of cooking. I'm going to try making it myself some time. Wish me luck. How do you make them ??

Until I moved to Delaware I had never heard of them either. Nor had I heard of Gnocchi.
Perogies are Eastern Europeam, Gnocchi, simial though generally smaller are Italian.  Same Idea...though must be a right coast thing.

You all just need to fly out and take some back with you...dry ice, locking cooler to check, air fare...Visa would LOVE you!!!

Isn't this combo called a coney dog??
I know coneys have kraut, but some southern cultures substitute slaw for the kraut...When growing up, our FRISCHs Resturaunt (brother of Shoneys) had slaw on their Big Boy sandwich.

Chili & 'slaw on a HotDog is the best thing goin'! Where I lived growing up, there was a place called "Jerry's" that touted their "famous" HotDogs.
I must've tried every combination of toppings around, but one of my favorites was chili and slaw.....Salsa & mustard is great, too.

Can't wait.....gettin' hungry....

BTW....slaw on bbq pork is awesome!!!!

So Anthony, are you saying that Friends don't let Friends eat hotdogs or BBQ sandwiches without slaw?

Ran out of time (kels has a bball game tonight) so I bought potato salad to go along with the hotdogs. Off to do Kels' bloodwork and sports physical paperwork. It never seems to end. Will have to pack in the morning.
