Two easy mods I made. One is a stackable shelf ($9) and the other is a suspended shelf. I got the idea for that after seeing someone else's pictures of theirs. They both make a huge difference in organizing things. The hanging shelf we use for plates, cups. bread, cereal and other light items.

Where did you buy the stackable shelf? It might fit in my hybrid's cabinet. Badly needed.

You can get them at target - they have them a longer and little wider .
I have 3 and they fit over the top of my stove (when the lid is down- which I don't use that often) they will help with keeping stuff off of the counter - the cost is about $6.00 each-

I got mine at Fry's Marketplace which is locally here in AZ but as Miss Kathy said you can get them at Target and probably WalMart too. For something so simple they make such a huge difference. The hanging shelf I love too. I am going to replace my bungee towel rack with a plastic paper towel rack like you put under your kitchen cabinets that we will lay on top facing down. Having it allowed us to put out things that we would normally store and have to dig out when needed. Little by little we are making the pup more homey and workable.

I use a stacking shelf in my camper too. It's book shelf size, about 12" by 36", and it fits perfectly over the stove. It's plastic like a parsons table, so lightweight yet very sturdy. The legs come off and fit neatly inside one of the shelves taking up minimal storage space when packed. A 2x2 fits snuggly up into the hollow legs, so I cut them longer to raise the height of the bottom shelf to allow clearance for the stove lid. See photos here:

That's similar to my set up. Try raising your suspended shelf a bit. Turn the stackables up-side down and hang them from the suspended shelf. See my pics in the
mods  section of my album.

Thanks for the idea. I may try that.

I'm nervous about screwing anything into the top...what kind of hardware did you use to fasten hanging shelving, etc.?

I was nervous about doing that too so I didn't. I drilled a small hole in the door track and I used existing screws or brackets to hang the other chains. I'll take some pictures next time I set up so you can see what I did.

I have exposed channel running across my roof to brace the non-existant A/C. You can see it in the pictures.
They make special screw anchors for camper roofs, too. Your dealer's parts dept. should have them.

Great...thank you.  We have to go to our local dealer today.  I will check out what kind of screws they have for the top!

I'm glad I found this thread.  Our NTU Rockwood has the loops in the ceiling for the soft hanging pantry but the thing was pretty much stripped of extras when we bought it.  I think I could work something similar using the existing hooks without having to drill any new holes.  Good work, all.
