I had to change my reservation at Killens POnd SP in DE, because the training I had previously had scheduled for next weekend and booked a campsite at Killens Pond, has been changed to this weekend.  No sites there this late this weekend.

So since no one had planned a campout for Columbus day this year, and the PUX group that I have shared this event with (3 others have the same appoximate DOB) are heading too far south and west, I decided to take the reservations I was canceling and transfer them to the Columbus Day Weekend. I will be on C-1 if anyone wants to join me, ummmm on their own site, hey we can have a party.
If not I will pick up my own cake at Willeys Farm and enjoy the WHOLE yellow cake with white icing and coconut all over the icing BY MYSELF.  I am more than willing to share and this is a State and Federal Holiday Weekend.

Paula I don't know where I am going to camp on Columbus Day weekend.:)

Paula,  I don't even know IF I am going camping that weekend.  Oh well.

Cheryl

Hey Paula,
I'm sorry we can't join you. The cake sounds good!
We are camping that weekend in Gettysburg for the National Apple Harvest Festival we go to EVERY year!!!! I look forward to it!!!!!!!!!! We will raise a glass in your honor around the campfire!!!!
Have a Happy Birthday camping,
Cheryl and the gang

Not sure if we can camp that weekend. Too far for us to plan. We're stuck with doing things last minute. As it is, I THINK we're leaving in the morning for Maine. We were supposed to leave this am, but Chris couldn't get away. Cooler is packed. Car is ready. If all goes according to plan, we pull out at 5am, arriving at Lake Sebago in time for lunch.

If anyone wants to join me, that is where I will be. And if not, well there are no "squirrels" to share the cake with...Maybe Raymond...

I am glad I did not get a reservation this weekend.  It took 2.5 hours to get to Dover, there was a tractor trailer accident (2 of 'em) that had traffic tied up for hours. So a drive that takes an hourish took 2.5...we had booked a room in dover (no small feat on a reserve weekend) because I had a 5 PM to 9 PM traing Friday night and then a 7:30 to 4:30 training on Saturday.  learned a lot of good stuff about what duct tape can do...in an emergency.

Hi Cheryl,

I have been gone camping the last 7 days, so no I haven't done anything yet.  I arrived home at 0430 this morning.  I did get the photos of the rally, thank you.:D

I am canceling Killens Pond and have made reservations for Granite Hill, my pen quite writing but I am on Post 10B I think, I know it is 10 something and it is a water/electric site.

SheBantam

The campground just called me and asked me if I would move...a group of 3 in post 10 wants my site for an add on...they have nothing else nearby so of course I said NO!!!
