Canvas waterproofing

I have a waterproofing question.

We are new to pop ups and have a few questions. We bought a new to us 1983 Sunlite Sunbird II.

We did not get an owners manuel and the company no longer exists.

How can I tell what kind of canvas we have? We are looking to waterproof our canvas and are unsure as to what can use. Can someone help us out?

Also, If anyone has more info on our type of camper or a possible owners manuel, can you please let me know. We are trying to learn all we can about our pop up.

Welcome!

Your canvas may be very waterproof as-is, and may not need anything.  Otherwise, get online and find the manufacturers of aftermarket canvas.  I believe "Bear Creek" is one of them.  You could contact them.

Silicone spray is probably one good way to waterproof.
