Let me know what you find when you get there.

Lori...Kevin has you're cell in his phone, Dan went by the metrolink station and checked out what he had to do so I guess we're good to go. this will be Kevin's first train ride going solo.....for all of 7 min  :p  C Ya at the train station

Quote from: griffsdadLori will vouch for me - the water thief is a piece of junk. It doesn't stay on the spigot. You have to hold this device while water is spewing out all over you and barely any water is going into the camper. Now Wayne made his own water thief which he should sell which is a perfect device to get water from the spigot to your camper.

Mine has a screw-type hose clamp on it. Should eliminate the unit popping off or leaking. Then again, I've yet to use it. But when we were kids and traveling the country in the 23ft Winnebago, dad made his own by cutting off about 8 inches of an old hose (the male end) and using a hose clamp to keep it on the NP/NFS water spigots. Worked like a charm.

Mine does too, but most of the time the spigots are threadless.

We are out of here in 20 minutes!!!! See everyone around the campfire.

Sorry about that, we came, we saw, we left...one of us wasn't feeling 100%, our campsite was as close to the RR Tracks as they come (little or no sleep), and the ranger said the park was full and could only cancel our space, so we did. I hope everyone has a good time.

Stue - We missed you.  Your site may have been next to the RR but only the AMTRAK came through and wasn't loud at all.  I don't even think they came at night.

We had a GREAT time.  The ocean front site was wonderful and enjoyed waking up to crashing waves.  The weather was nice but the breeze made it a bit chilly, the kids didn't care.  The potluck was tasty as usual and it was nice to meet a few new people.

We planted 6 plants at Doheny Beach which was nice and the kids liked being able to get dirty w/o mommy/daddy saying NO.

The people who reserved the handicaped site never showed so that site was vacant the whole weekend.  I kept thinking how CJ would have had a nice time staying there.

Would LOVE to go there again.

We had a great time.  Kind of hated leaving to go to Soccer, but what are you gonna do?  We all had a blast, and despite the Flooding friday night, we still LOVED our huge site, and would get it again in a heartbeat.
Poker was great, although I wasn't the big winner, (will I ever be) just happy to play and have fun.
Can defineatly do doheny again, good luck getting sites though.

Griffsclan had a lovely time, and I even ventured out of the camper for this rally! The weather was wonderful (take that, weatherman who predicted rain) as was the company. The potluck was delicious as always.  We asked Griffin if he had a good time and his reply was that he "had a blast!"  That's the way it should be.

Sorry you were under the weather, Stue, but trust me, going home was the right decision. You want to be home with that nasty bug that's going around and not sick in the camper. I spent the entire Easter rally in the camper, and it was not so much fun at all.  Hope you're on the road to recovery!

Camp-out was great!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Sorry you weren't feeling well Stue. As Lori said, it's not fun to be away from home when you're not well. Hope to see you there next time.

Too many new campers to mention.......the potluck was super outstanding.

We too had a great time, Sean had a blast too!  Toby it was nice to meet you and hope you join us again soon.  The drive home went very quickly and seemed to give us too much time to work around the house when we got home!  John & Leanne...great visiting with you both, Brad had a great time playing with TJ.

We will see everyone at Pt. Mugu at Father's Day!
