I've got a '99 Coleman Redwood.  The LP tank is held down to the frame just behind the hitch with a couple of threaded rods.  Holes are pre drilled in the frame to allow for a second tank, which I have, but I can't, for the life of me, find those hold-down bolts anywhere.  I've just about worn out Google.  Anybody know where they can be bought?

I  got  a  set  at  the  local RV dealer  for  around $15.

The Camping World near me doesn't carry them.  Do you have a link?

I bought  it  here Young RV
I couldn't  find them on their online parts search, but they had them behind the parts counter at  the  business.  I  am sure they  can ship  a set  to you........give them a  call.

Another option is to bolt the tanks down at the bottom. There are holes in the base of the tank just for that.

My double tanks on my Viking PU and Bantam Hybrid were both held down like the one in this image
And can be found here

You could always buy threaded rod and bot it in place with self locking nuts and a wingnut on top.

My TrailManor has the same set-up. I really like it. It makes changing the tanks a breeze. :sombraro:

the problem with a threaded rod and nuts is that nuts can come off and get lost...

I had the same thing on my camper, one threaded bar was so badly rusted I had to cut it off to remove the old-style tank.

On my camper, the tanks sit rigth on those two parallel angle bars, and the long pin went through the holes shown.

When I put the new tanks on, I used these 'clevis pins' or PTO pins to hold the tanks on.  they are large enough not to get lost in the grass if they're dropped, and they hold the tanks on, no problem.  one on each side - 4 pins for 2 tanks.

;) ;)  If your DW works for a bolt fabricator you just give her 1 of the rods and have 2 made from stainless steel rod and use nylock nuts to secure them like I was able to.But if not try a dealer they arent that pricey. But you could get a piece of all thread rod and with a propane torch bend the end and put a piece of vinyl tubing on the bend and then get a nylock nut or nylock wingnut to finish it off.....Good luck  :W
