Need more suggestions? Lake Raystown is great, West Chester KOA is great, and we did a Yogi Bear Campground near Frank Lloyd Wrights home. We are heading towards Altoona, PA - a place called Wright's Orchard Station Camp Ground. It is small - maybe 36 sites - but some of them have cable, all have WiFi. It is the closest we could find with full hook-up near Punxsutawney (which is a 1 hr drive. There is one place closer, but they have already shut off their water for fear of freezing pipes (in September???)
The wording of various breeds of dogs have changed for KOA - they still state that certain breeds are not accepted UNLESS they show no aggression - so make sure you read what they will accept. We have a Doberman, without the cropped ears so he looks like a reddish black lab but his rabies certificate - which we travel with - states he is AKC Doberman - but has a very gentle nature - kinda like his Dad's!
Keep the PA campgrounds coming - preferrably with ful hook-ups! Thanks Dave
