Joshua Tree (Black Rock Campground - Loop B) for 3/27-3/29/09 DRY Camping - This is a different campground than last time and looks as though the sites are closer together. We reserved all the trailer sites in this loop and only tent sites are available. There are other RV sites available in other loops that can be reserved by going to www.recreation.gov
I max'd out the number of sites I could reserve. Anyone is welcome to make their own reservations, $15.00 a night. This is a National Park and all sites are dry.

Hummmmmm this is going to be a fun Fall/Winter/Spring camping season I was just thinking about all the anti-freeze we'll be using with all the camping we are doing and now with our TT and where we live with Temps in the teens in the winter we'll be adding draining, adding, draining almost monthly........Should be fun....... :eyecrazy:

I would think that all you would have to do is blow out your water lines with a high pressure air hose and drain the water heater and you would be all set for any cold spells that come your way. Easier than the anti-freeze method  :)

I just checked the website and noticed there are no showers there... They are 5 miles away. :yikes:

OOOOPS!!! I see, I was a little late on that.......I went ahead and booked site #59 :sombraro:
RV sites seem to be in short supply there but you managed to get a good site.  All the other sites are aways away.

Ya but we are in the middle of a bunch of tent sites. I hope that they aren't rowdy..... :sombraro: It also says that the site will only accommodate 25'. We are 27' but usually don't have any trouble because we have 4' of overhang when opened.

Well that sure would make it simple wouldn't it........Jim has a compressor I'm going to check with my cousin they live up here and see what they do and ask around with some other TT people up here and find out what they do......Sure do not want our lines to freeze,,,,,,,,,,,,,,I'm a number one worry wart.....Hahaaaa
