It might be glass half full or half empty!

The rest of what you owe depending on how long you plan on staying if any longer than two nights plus $5.00 for each family for the pancake breakfast!

What I am confused about is the amount......

I know that we paid a $25 deposit but the amount per night is not on the 1st post any longer. I think it was $25 per night but I seem to remember something about extra for an extra space or something (or maybe I'm thinking of another rally). I also thought that we were only to pay for one night up front and the balance when we arrived (I thought that's how it was last year). All that info is missing...................

At any rate....I don't know how much to send you. :(

Wayne,

Ok I can see thru the confusion.

   Here is this year's procedure.
Some of the folks have paid in full and included their $5.00 for the their family to have the pancake breakfast. Some have not paid the $5.00 but still paid their two nights worth of camping. What I had mentioned before in a post long ago was that this year we would like to have the $$$ up front for the person who is going to go buy the groceries.
Their is no extra site that anyone is paying for in this rally. As of today I do have 2 sites available due to the fact that I can't get ahold of Jendak and her brother. I might have another if I can't get ahold of Surfcampers this weekend.
This year due to what we learn by trial and error that I wanted to get the monies put up front before we got to camp so that I would not have the drama that I have had in the past with the campground. Each campground is run differently and we have sent them the first initial deposit. Some of you may already know that your first deposit checks have not been cashed due to some of you asking to hold them. We are fine with the campground at this point but if you have only sent a deposit of $25.00; you need to send another $25.00 if you are staying 2 nites. If you are bringing a dog then it's a dollar per dog per day.
  So recaping all of this:
  It's $25.00 per night per a family of 4.
It's $1.00 per dog per day.
It's $5.00 per family for pancake breakfast paid now. If you have not paid already.

Thanks for letting me be your wagonmaster.

Are you saying that you now want the ones that paid in full, to now send you another payment for $5
or can we pay you at the rally

So...not to beat a dead horse...But as Recumentman asked "
Are you saying that you now want the ones that paid in full, to now send you another payment for $5 or can we pay you at the rally "???????????

Thanks for the clarification Bob. We appreciate all the effort that goes into all of this................I just couldn't remember what the "cost per night" was and all that info is missing from the 1st post.

It may not be a bad idea to put that info back in the 1st post. This thread is now over 200 posts long and it's a pretty daunting task to wade through all of it to try to figure out what the bottom line is..........or maybe I'm the only one that has a bad memory......:morning:

Oh my goodness you have left the door wide open on this one.... but I'm going to be good and not say anything about you getting old and the memory isn't very sharp.  I suppose all that time at sea has done a number on the  brain cells.  However you see I'm not the type that would ever point something like this out to you......being a friend and all it just wouldn't be very nice.  So you have a nice day and remember to shut the lights off....

Freedom_5

Hi Carol.

You said it very well. But I do understand the dilemma and for all of you who are still in the dark I will update the first page as per Wayne's request.

wavery

Thanks Bob...............that's perfectly clear now:D.................BUT.............that still leaves the dilemma of the missing brain cells :morning:.

We are going to go to Morro Bay for 3 nights, after this camp-out. Anyone interested in coming along. There are still some "dry" sites available. We're going to do Hearst Castle.

Then we're going to head up Hwy 1 to Carmel By the River Campground, in Carmel for a few days.

Yeah Doc, can you call my work and tell them I am sick??

This sounded like fun we looked at the campground we think you're going to and it only had one site left for a smaller TT than ours.....Oh well next time you want company during the week give us a call......I'm sure you will have a very good time.....

I'm not sure where you were looking. Try here for Morro Bay and just put in Oct 4 and enter the # of days that you want. I just checked and there are about 30 sites available from 25'-35' (no hook-ups). We are in site #82 (#83 is a 25' H/C site :)).

For Carmel By The River, you have to call for reservations:

We plan to drive up Hwy 1 on the 8th and stay at Carmel the 8th & 9th and drive home on Friday 10th.

You should have received Guerrero5 also. She said that she mailed it on Friday. I'll give her a call if you don't get it by tomorrow.
