Also, I've gotten a couple of cancellations...anyone out there looking to camp this weekend?  I'd love to fill the spots if possible to avoid any cancellation charges.  Otherwise, I will be shifting some spots so the group stays together (not the people coming in on Thursday though).

We are Rich and Kelly Schlegel. Wavery told us about this club. We are friends with his daughter Lori. We have a 21' Pioneer Trailer and wanted to get it out more this year thought this would be one way to do it. We love to kayak also so if you know of any good places to camp and kayak please let us know.
We will be with you this weekend. I got lucky and they had a cancellation. I am on hold with newport dunes right now waiting to see what our site number is. She never gave it to us when I made the reservations yesterday.
Anyway, we are looking forward to meeting everyone. What do you want us to bring to the breakfast and dinner? Muffins for morning & Macaronni Salad for Dinner?

I'm confused...did they give you the rally rate of $36.30 per night? Do you have a campsite number?  I thought all the rally reservations had to go through me.  I'm waiting for a call back or email response from Nick the group coordinator who will hopefully be able to straighten this out.

Sorry about the mix-up. This is the 1st that I saw anything about cancellations. SoCalSchlegels is a friend of my daughters and has never posted on PUT before or camped with our (or any) group. They sent me an email e few days ago about coming to Newport with us (my daughter, her family and us). I told her the rally was full (because that's what the 1st post showed) and told her to try calling the CG...........That's why she did it that way.

call them back & tell them you were confused and didn't know you had to go thru the wagonmaster and tell them the wagonmaster put you in site 1210.

Or Jeanne you gonna call and get them moved???

We may be canceling - Lori has too much work and it's going to raining be Friday through Sunday. I will let everyone know tomorrow.

because everyone is afraid of a little rain and cancelling, it's only going to rain at night and we all will be saying neener neener neener
