Thanks Wayne it worked!  It stopped raining, so we threw the kids in the car, and closed up quick.  Got home unpacked and went to lunch before it started again.

What a great weekend.  I had a Blast.  A little poker, a little liquor, a LOT of food.  I am gonna fast all week!

Thanks to everyone, hope to do again real soon...

We had a great time - food, drinks, poker - and good friends, what more could we ask for - oh yeah - it did not rain until the last night!  How great was that.

Thanks again Jeanne - great trip.

It was nice to see everyone, we got home in about an hour to Van Nuys, hope to see you soon.

Marcinator

Hello all,

Thank you for the great weekend.  We enjoyed our maiden voyage with the group and hope to join you again soon for another trip. The weekend was relaxing, the food at the potluck, delicious, and meeting all of you was a lot of fun. We especially enjoyed the campfire social time.  Thanks for being so welcoming.

WELCOME TO PUT!!!!!!

You two are a great addition to our little clan.....thanks for coming and adding that "Little special touch" to our rally.

For those that don't make the connection...........Marcinator is the better half of "Hoagie"  :p .

BTW..........I told you it wasn't gonna rain... :D

I'd like to Thank Everybody for such a great time this weekend. I went home a day early against my better judgement and protests from the back seat as we left. ( I just couldn't leave the non-camping wife at home and not do something for Vday, even a day late. Dinner out was very nice, just to keep the imagination of what 'something' from running rampant. )

I think Brian really loved being a star riding his bike without training wheels in front of an audience. Thanks to Rich for getting that priceless video of the moment. I did tell myself to get pictures of him riding the next day, but that thought faded fast after he rode around the lagoon and over the bridge with me, huffing beside him..

Thank you Jeanne your superb wagonmastering, and great vday craft.

Edwin did quiz his mom on why she's the non-camper again. There is the dirt factor, but there is a bathroom factor we discovered that would require a deluxe moho or TT. Walls and a door, and a cold walk outside to/from bed is not OK.
...At least it's not the wild sccamper parties she's afraid of...

Reiko did quiz me when I was going to get a Dutch Oven and get serious about cooking for the potluck. Maybe I should, just so there's one more reason she needs to come along.

Thanks again for a great time,
Carl

Hang in there Carl I think maybe she is starting to re-think this camping thing....She knows it is not going away and the kids love it so much.  I too am glad it's not us wild Sccampers that drove her away......Heeheeeee
Well we woke up this morning to bright blue skies and thought maybe we'd go home today ( Tuesday) Except now we are sitting under the blackest sky and the heavens have opened up soooooooooooo Jim is at the office paying for one more day.......Darn.......Hahaaaaaaaa   Ya just gotta love this retirement wish you all could be here with us but enjoy your day at work and think of us sitting here reading ,knitting, and sleeping........Maybe I'll download my pictures if I packed my cord thingy........
Dee we have looked all over and didn't find the item you called about hope you found it.......Love to all, cw

What a great weekend! Thanks to Jeanne for wagonmastering this one. Happy hour was awesome; the potlucks were tasty; the weather was merciful; and the company was terrific!!

Griffsclan had a great time visiting with the usual suspects as well as our new friends, Rich and Kelly and Brian and Marcy! Hope you'll be joijning us again soon! It was also a truly joyous surprise to see Kent and Estelle drive in and set up behind us!! Shirleen--I'm so sorry you had to go home early, but I hope you're feeling better and back to yourself again. Carl--gald to hear that the boys are working on Reiko and that it wasn't SCCampers that scared her off...especially since we were the ones camped next to you at her last (and only?) camping trip!!

Thanks to everyone for the fun times. Sure glad Dave talked me into not letting work get in the way of this weekend. Can't wait to see you all next month at San Clemente!

PS Carol and Jim--glad to hear that you're staying safe and dry at the cg one more day. Have a safe trip home when you finally find yourself heading that way.

Yep. She's definitely the better half.

Thanks to all of you for being so welcoming. I can't remember ever joining a new group of any type where we immediately felt so welcomed and a part of the group. You guys and gals are all great. Or maybe it was just the cosmos

We are looking forward to joining you again and more frequently. Hopefully we can clear a couple of weekends in the coming months and make it to another rally soon.

Thanks again to all for a great weekend.
