Come wine & dine with us at their recently renovated luxury accommodations.

As of the date we had booked our resevations, the cg gave us their general rates ($44. weekdays, $46. weekends plus 10% tax for 2 people. There are additional fees more people and pets) They may possibly raise their fees to their "holiday rates".
Please contact the cg directly for further info. and to make your arrangements. Also make sure ask them to put you next to us. We are in the "Premium pull-thru" sites:

As a govt employee, I get the 19th off (unless Arnold decides to reduce our paid holidays to help with the budget crisis   ), so count griffsclan in.

Dave--do you want to call and make the reservation so you can decide how early you'll be coming in? ;)

Heres the very nice reply I got from Flying Flags in regards to the price increases...

"Hi Dieter,

Thank you for your feedback about our rates at Flying Flags.   I wish more of our guests would take the time to express their feelings about their experiences here.  This is the only way we can find out what is important to our guests.

We really had to make a tough choice.  On one hand there are many guests who feel as you do, who liked to visit us over the years because our prices were moderate and they were willing to put up with our smaller, unlevel sites with tree roots, etc.  However there were also many guests who refused to consider coming here because we did not have level pads, 50 amp power and sites large enough to accommodate their RV

Dee4j

that was nice they even replied. I know when reading the rv review sites they were always getting bashed about their site space. if you have a slide out it would touch the next persons awning. I'm awaiting the report from everyone about the upgrades.

Very nice letter from FF funny I don't remember their sites being that small but then we only had a very small pup.........Maybe now I would think differently??
Waiting to hear all about the new changes and how you like the new look....Guess there will be less sites if they are making them bigger?  Or maybe they had the land......??  Oh well have fun......

unfortunately, the cg won't give site no.s...just let them know when you make your reservation that you would like to be next to the Sue, Way and Holcomb families.  we are in the "premium pull-thru sites"

I hope you will join us!

we are in............. sort of. I call and found out the prices will be $56.00 a night and that is out of my budget. I also found out from them that you requested the 300"s section which is right across from the non-hook-up area. So we made reservations in the non-hook-up area ($24.00 a night). So we will be across the road from you hopefully.
If anyone else would like to join us out in the open grass area, that would be great.

At those rates........we're in too. We've been camping twice a month and we have to watch our budget. If we camped at $56 a night, we'd have to skip a camp-out to justify it. We'd rather have more camp-outs at lower cost per camp-out.

I just booked Thursday - Sunday on the grass area.......We don't need hook-ups anyway.

Gracy

Are there any rules about running extension cords across to the other side?

hahahahahah!!!

Tough call.  Its a long haul for us to get up there, for a three day weekend.  (Actually have a 4 day semester break the following week)  The $56 is a bit much, $24 is much better, but its gonna be cold, and our furnace does not work, so we would have to use elec heater, which would kill the batteries quick.

We shall see...

griffsdad

We're still in!! I just have to find time to call the camp ground and make the reservation. Too busy at work!!!
