We have a single ladder set-up I made some years back that we'll be bringing. Ladder-ball tournament?
I also recently built a "Washers" game that we'll be bringing along. Anyone every play that?
Lastly, I'll toss in the Bocce Ball set if there anywhere at Mugu to roll these things? Or horseshoes if there is anywhere to set up some pits??

I am SURE you have seen it played.  I think GRIFFS even have a set.  Basically its 2 PVC stands that look like towel racks, you toss the stringed ball at the pipes and get scored for it, never played but looks fun

mrsoreo57

That was more of an offer to bring 'whatever' for the general use of the group. Not knowing what the area is like in Pt. Mugu, I didn't know if bocce or horseshoes would work. (Harder than heck to get the balls to roll in soft sand or over boulders, and the horseshoe stakes only work if the ground is firm enough to hold them. Beach sand sometimes doesn't work and throwing horseshoes in a rocky area can lead to some interesting new dance steps. :-())

The Cajun Horseshoes (Bolo Toss) is always in the trailer and the Washers game is brand new. These can pretty much be played anywhere. These 2 will definitely be going.

I don't even think of trying to play these all at once. Drink spillage would almost certainly occur and that can just ruin your whole weekend. All of these can easily be played one at a time with a minimal incidence of party foul. :!

Our plan is to leave the OC around 6 or 6:30PM Thursday. We're hoping the traffic through LA isn't too bad so we can arrive prior to the 10pm gate closing. Otherwise, we'll see ya all in the AM after we spend the night turtled across the road.

If you get there too late, you're welcome to come over and sleep in our trailer instead of popping up for the night. We have an extra queen size bunk.....we'll just have to push the bird over a little.....:sombraro:
