I can't believe we're not all out camping in this awesome weather!  We had a bonfire at Huntington Beach last Saturday night and we were just in sweatshirts, on the beach at 10pm!  Makes me wanna pack up the kids and head back!

Anyway, carry on ;)

Yes, it is GREAT weather, but we need rain or its going to be a VERY dry summer. Our 1st trip this year is the weekend of the 23rd at Guajome..Cant wait.

We're going to Flying Flags (near Solvang) this weekend (our 2nd beautiful weather camp-out of 2009). It may get up to 80 degrees. :sombraro:

I gotta remember to pack the generator. Looks like AC weather and we are dry camping....who'd a thunk????  :eyecrazy:

THis time of year I prefer rain.  We need it, lots of it.  Sun and heat is nice, but we need rain so our CG's don't burn down.  ITs also nice to see nice greenery and flowing rivers in spring....

It can rain when you go camping.......for now......we'll take the beautiful weather.  :S

I do agree with you though. I was pretty shocked when we got our last water bill from Fallbrook. :yikes:

Heard on the radio yesterday that "leading scientists" have said we may get no more significant rain due to an "el Nina" condition that has developed. This is not good. Along with all the reasons stated above for why we should all more want rain, we can add the fact that we will have months of listening to the newsblasters telling us about the "terrible drought" SoCal is in....again.....still.... :D

Yes bring on the rain.....when i'm not camping and at night when I'm sleeping and not out on the roads :p

Uh, When are we going camping next? It's got to rain then. I'll bet this El Nina condition will weaken as soon as we get a good size rally. I really considered attaching the rain gauge I got for Edwin's school project on the PU. I think I've only been on about 2 rallies without rain. I guess we need to camp more- and help the rain along.

Yes it is!  It was -11 F here  yesterday morning.  Today it is up to a balmy 25 F.  Too bad there is snow all over the road and it isn't safe to tow.:D

You SoCal guys really know how to hurt a guy......it hasn't been above freezing here in over 2 weeks with temps in the -5 to -9 area at night.   I think the air in the popup tire is frozen also. Can't wait til Spring!  I need the smell of canvas before I go into withdrawl.

But good luck camping!

You don't have to wait until spring to go camping.  I am still hoping to go this month.  Your more than welcome to join me.:)

If you think I am joking about camping in the winter take a look at my webshots pictures.:D

Scampers  spoiled but I wouldn't trade our weather for anything...or our group, as far as that goes, in rain, wind, or sun we are just too much fun!!!!
