Andy I have actually pulled the camper into Shady Maple (before any "cute" comments, to eat, NOT to camp), they have lots of room on the side where we will be eatting anyway.  They park buses there, so I am sure there is room for a popup and TV...held my F150 and Bantam...

Andy just a reminder that in PA state parks there isn't a limit on how late you check in.  Looking forward to seeing you.:)

Was reading about firewood on the Rally Thread, this year at French Creek I have no night stand to burn, no mods being proposed, in fact not sure which trailer I am bringing, called Kyrian's mom and have not got an answer...Raymond kinda wants to come too (if it is not too cold or wet), if I have both, I will bring the big 'un...

Hi
I was thinking about coming late, but I have to attend a meeting ,which will last proabably until 9:30 PM or so ,then go home ,get the pop up and drive another 2 1/2 hours. That would make it 1 AM or so,which is way to late (or early).
The plan is to leave here early in the morning,6 AM(?) and make it there by 8:30,set up and go to breakfast with you. If we leave later,we will come to Shady Maple first ,like Paula suggested. Please ,don't wait for us ,going to Shady Maple, which reminds me,I gotta look up directions for that place.

Breakfast goes until 10 am if I remember correctly.  It takes about 1/2 hour to get from the campground to shady maple.

Hey all!

Have a safe trip - wish we could be there!!  Everyone here is itching to get out in the camper...  I hitched it up last weekend and pulled it out of the backyard so it's just a matter of time!

Happy Birthday Tracy!!

Sorry we didn't make it camping this weekend. K's track meet lasted all day Saturday (and one Friday til 7pm). Hope you all had a great time. I missed Shady Maple once again   . The bright side is having Beckie and me stay home allowed you to have sunshine. Seems whenever we go, it rains.

Please post photo links if you took pics.

Thanks everyone.  It was a blast.  I still can't eat a full meal after coming home from this weekend.  Oh, so full.  It was great seeing some of our longtime friends and meeting some new ones.  As always you guys are the best.

Thanks again for everything,

Scott

Kyrian, has a GF...well 2 this time out. Thank you Buxette Camper's DD for helping grandma paula out!!  And DadEmt's youngest and Kyrian were as cute as cute could be. Thanks you all for the help with him especally while I was cooking!!
nancy, I hope your foot gets better as well as your trailer!!!
Good to see everyone that made it...Missed Becky, DiW (and Dee of course), and Rick-n-family.

Raymond came up to help me with Kyrian while I cleaned out the camper (scrubbing everything down) and packing up...then Rayknd got tired, we had left the car at Walmart, so I had to take him back to Walmart and then come back andfinish...everyone had gone by then...so the pressure was off...got the trailer lined up with the truck just had to get out to measure distance and did not have to pull up once...if I have an audience, I have all kinds of problems...Got out of there right at 3 infact a VERY nice ranger was making rounds about quarter of to make sure whoever needed to be out by 3 was...
Got home about 5:00, hit most lights red...and caught a couple of Amish buggies going up hill and had a line of traffic at a snails pace...so I did pretty good considering...Raymond was grateful that we left him some pot roast, taters and carrots, as well as brocolli, we had a sit down dinner of left overs...but not after the specator sport of watching me back into the drive (people come out and watch)...double drive, but only half of it has the curb low enough so my sewer lines do not drag...and that is NOT the side I park on...so I go back and forth to the street and swing the trailer a little at a time right into the exact spot where I can still get the Bantam in if I take it out (Luckily I can pull that one in)!!  I am unpacked, Kyrian is with Jeffrey (Raymond handed him off), I am going to bed and sleep good tonight, no little kid crying in the middle of the night!!
I cannot imagine women having kids in their 40's and beyond...where do they get the energy to keep up????

To echo those who have already posted, it WAS great to see everybody again and to meet the Bux Campers...

Paula--sorry to leave without saying goodbye--Course it sounds like you may not have been there anyway!  Glad you made it home safe.

Couldn't escape Cabela's this time without spending any money...Thanks, Tracy for leading the caravan over.

Looking forward to next time.  (Gotta survive Vegas, first though.:yikes: )

Hey all!

I am assuming that Shady Maple is a buffet kinda place??

Is it better than the famous Golden Corral??

Hungry tummies would like to know...  :p
