Any interest in a Thanksgiving rally?

Last year, I tried to get a rally going for Thanksgiving, and while the idea was well received, something got lost in the commitment. Perhaps it was planned too close to the holiday to allow people to change their traditional plans...

Soooooo...this year, I'm gauging interest well ahead of when we would have to reserve our sites and commit to attending. Anyone interested in having a Thanksgiving rally?

yes as long as it is local to me as Thnaksgiving is at my house and I can't change that...

We would be interested but we would probably show up on Friday.

We'd probably be interested as long as it isn't over the Thanksgiving Day weekend. (Which might defeat the purpose of a Thanksgiving Rally. DOH!!)

How about a week or two before? That way we all get to celebrate Thanksgiving twice!! We would probably bring the smoker and cook some pork loins, turkey breast, a small ham,.....

We take vacation every year that whole week due to kiddos school closure so we would love to do a rally either just before thanksgiving or just after.

Um, I think you have a lot of interest here..... just looks like most people are available around thanksgiving but not on the actual holiday. Its understandable, its a big holiday and people do have families that get in the way of camping wishes

So like I said we would love to plan something with the group for either just before or just after that thursday

Yes, the four-day holiday is the reason for a rally.

A possible option is to camp where we don't need a group of "x" or more to get a decent rate and then anyone can make their reservations for when they want to come and go....I'll think a bit more on this...

Geez Lori got the bug?? For a person whos too busy at owrk to almost miss a rally. You sure have been posting a lot in the past few days....

We would love to do something over thanksgiving, but we do multiple families at thanksgiving, so we are busy, of course if you plan it we can plan around it....

Kara is off that whole week, Kevin has min. day Wed. I'm not opposed to setting up Wed and going home and coming back on Thurs nite.

the other option is make the Rally Friday-Sunday and those who want to join you for Tday can reserve on their own. They would get the group rate one day before The only problem could be is like Newport dunes imposes a 3 nite min. on Holidays.

If you want I can check with Canyon RV.
