Any interest in a Thanksgiving rally?

I would LOVE to camp over Thanksgiving...getting away from family would be the only problem...

I would LOVE to eat turkey off a paper plate, drink some wine from a plastic cup and use plastic utensils. After eating tooo much food I would love to sit around a campfire instead of a television. Why does thanksgiving have to be such a production

Lori if it is close enough to set up before and go home to do turkey day with the family of non camping types then come back we would love to come....So for now we'll have to take a lets see approach..

More like too windy and cold....I seem to vaguely recall hearing something about frozen water lines...oh yeah, that's right, we were at home snug by the fireplace for that one.

how about East shore RV alot like Canyon RV, but without the freeway noise

we would be interested in Friday to Sunday

I love that place but it seems like most of the people in this group hate it :confused: I have no idea why, something about skunks? Anyway we would totally be down for East Shore anytime

PS: If you guys were to plan for East Shore we would consider actually going for Thursday too and just invite our families out for turkey there

Hahaaaaaa Mojave Narrows can be very nice but in November the weather can be very iffy the wind blows 90 MPH or the skunks come out to play or we have a heat wave or cold snap some times the weather can be PERFECT......The desert is a funny place but I too like the narrows. The camp out for Dee's birthday was a great weekend perfect weather and no wind that I remember anyway so it can be a very nice camp ground. One of these times we'll just have to have a camp out up here again......Call it be nice to Jim and Carol weekend........Hahaaaaaaaa

If you get a group rate for the 4 days, some of us could just come in late. I wouldn't mind paying for 4 days and staying 3, if the price is right.

If you're talking $140 for 4 days, that would make it about $45 a day for those that stay 3 days and $35 a day for those that stay 4 days.

we, like others, have TG Day obligations.

We know a bunch of folks that like East Shore. The complaint about skunks was from a long time ago. We tried to go there around summer, but it was full for the weekends we checked out.

My vote is for East Shore RV. I have never been there and it looks like a neat place on the website.
