The weather is looking good for this coming weekend.  Is anyone up for a trip?  If so where would you want to go?:)

NAAAA!! I have to be in Symrna all day and help recruit Symrnians to the Medical Reserve Corp.  I was named to the leadership Team as team leader of administrative support (lead paper pusher in case of a medical emergency), so I have to be there to show others you do not need a medical background to be part of the team...

Don't worry Paula, I don't expect you to camp in the winter.  I know you don't like the cold.:)

Tracy,
I would LOOOOOVVVVVEEEEE to get away right now, BUT, my cabinets are being delivered today and hopefully I'll be unloading boxes and organizing my cabinets this weekend. It would be nice if they got my appliances back in too so I can finally cook with something other than an electric skillet!!!! Yeah!
We are hoping to camp sometime in the next few weeks. All of our camping group are getting cabin fever and talk about nothing but when the first campout will happen.
Hope to see ya round the campfire REAL soon!

It is not the cold as much as bad weather. And that is driving in bad weather. Rain I can handle (never fails towing through the Harrisburg maze of expressways) but NOT snow and ice. I do not even like driving in that stuff without a trailer and I live less than 2 miles from work (about a mile as the crow flies).  Always happy when the Governor calls a snow day.

Boy do I wish we could go camping!

We all have cabin fever here, and DS asks a few times every day when we can hitch up the camper.

I am getting antsy to head out as well...  I have read every Trailer Life, Highways, Camping Life, & Woodalls book I can find.  Can't wait to go!

As soon as DD gets a few months older we'll be on the road!

Is that ice toboggan ride still open and would you consider camping near there?  Allison thinks that toboggan would be neat and might consider going.  We'd need to consult the calendar.

Dave I don't know if the slide is still open.  With the warmer weather we have had it may be closed.  Now it look like there will be rain Friday into Saturday...gerrrr.  I don't want to get the PU wet this time of the year.  I don't have any place to set it up to dry it out.  It looks like camping in February is not going to happen for me this year.:(

Too bad.  March starts getting real busy for us again, usually lasts until May.  Our next camping opportunity would be Memorial Day weekend.  Don't know where we're going, don't have reservations anywhere.  We'll have to pick a spot and work on cancellations.  Letchworth, Sampson SP would probably be the most likely.  They both have enough sites that cancellations are inevitable.  Unless...I can talk DW into dry camping.  That opens up a lot more possibilities.

Dave I hope you can talk her into dry camping.  There are a lot of sites that don't have electric.  Are you still planning on going west this summer?

Tracy-

We're still planning on the Yellowstone trip.  We've got reservations for Watkins Glen last weekend in June (see you there!), we leave Sunday from there.  We'll be out about 3 weeks.  We'll certainly get some dry camping out of that trip.  Don't understand her reticence to dry camping.  All we lose in the camper is AC, microwave and 110 outlets, (and we've got a small inverter).  We've got enough water on board for at least 4 days and nights for the 3 of us.

Put in an ebay bid on a 2007 Avalon, but the auction was canceled.

Dave I am glad your trip is still a go.  I wish I could go on that trip.  Are you still looking for a temp camper?:)
