Looks like a neat CG but we can't do three camp outs in a row so for this time It's a no can do but have a great time...... :)

Yes, I know that there a lot of camp outs planned in March, but I thought that I would put it out there just in case.
We can only go at this time cause of medical issues.  Would have liked to gone to one down south but can't really do it right now.

Have been watching the weather all week and the chance of rain has been around 20% for Sat into Sun.
I just heard on our local morning news that they have increased the chance to 50%!  Perfect! Gotta love it!
It is going to be nice to camp with little to no bugs hopefully.  We have been bouncing near record highs the past couple of days and the rain will be nice change if it comes.

Ya John, It looks like a little rain all down the coast this weekend. It's not a major cold front or anything, just some tropical moisture coming up from the South as the seasons change.

I would look for sporadic rain with very few down pours but there could be some wind with it if the pressure drops due to the temp change..

I wish that we were free, we love Moro Bay. It's a great place to Kayak in the protected waters of the bay, even in the rain.....lots of birds.....We went there last January and the weather was marvelous. Here's a few pics:

I sure wish we could go. I love Morro Bay. I grew up spending a few weekends and many holidays there every year because my Grandparents lived there. My favorite activity, as well as my kids, was to go feed the sea lions at the aquarium. It just wasn't a trip to Morro Bay without it. Sadly, my Grandparents have both passed away and we just don't get up there as often anymore.

Have a great trip! Say hi to the sea lions for us if you should happen to get to the aquarium.

We got to the campground early Thursday afternoon and just setup camp and got settled in.
Friday went for a short walk around the nature museum and the area there.  Later in the day we met some friends that live in Morro bay for dinner at a local dog friendly seafood market where they also serve food and beverages on their patio.  Tognazini's Dockside.
Sat we drove up to Cambria and went to Moonstone Drive and walked the boardwalk path there.  Took TJ our dog down on the beach for the first time that we know of for him.  He really loved the way the sand felt in his toes we think cause he ran all over the place and did his cut and run antics, he looked like he was smiling big time too.
Sat night, early Sun morning, 3:30am it started to rain pretty good.
It sounded nice on our roof and the wind came too.
Sun we went up Hiway 46 to a couple of wineries that we like and then our friends invited us back to their house for dinner after that.  Made it back to camp about 8:30pm, stayed up for a bit and then crashed.  It was so cold, we did not want to start a fire that late and just stayed in the pup with the heater trying to get warm.
Mon got up and it was way cold to us unless you were in the sun and even then it was not too warm.  OH thank goodness for fresh, hot coffee!

Looking forward to going again!  We know which spots we want to reserve for the future now too.
