I know some of you are doing Mugu at the end of June, but we can't go that friday because of Scouts.  Been trying to find something for our annual schools out rally, unfortuneatly I waited too long I think.

Campland is full online, I may call just to be sure.
San Elijo-full
San Clemente-full
Guajome- available
SD KOA-available but expensive
San Mateo-available

Any suggestions??  Thinking anytime june 20 - 26 for three nights.

We're going to be in Lake Casitas 6/19 weekend.  You can check there and see if you can join us and arrive a day later.   We possibly have a site available and you could arrange for extra days (a friend of mine did this last week) or you can go to the dry camping area (across the street) where Wavery stayed.

That's why you would be at raging waters or in the pool at the CG. Plus they have a lot of shade trees and maybe you might want to turn on that AC that you have and see how it works  ;)  If you don't use it, you are going to lose it  :yikes:

Another option is the CG that Gracy mentioned earlier Golden shore  We stayed there once and its a nice little CG and they have a pool. You can take in the queen Mary and fisherman's wharf, plus the Aquarium and Rainbow Harbor is just walking distance from the CG.

What a wuss................ might be to HOT

Last Casitas? We liked camping at http://www.co.san-bernardino.ca.us/PARKS/yucaipa.htm, very nice campsites, water park will be open in addition to the fishing lakes. Apple Farms are a trip.

thats what I was gonna say, but didn't want to be called a wimp again.

We went to Dogwood last year, but the bugs (and bear) drove us nuts!  Mainly the bugs.  I may call Campland.  Really wanted to try the KOA but its just too expensive.

I vote that we go to this campground.  Shouldn't we be making our reservations before everything fills up?

I goofed again.  I replied on the wrong post.  Let's go the CG that STUE has suggested.  Do we still have enough to make reservations?

I liked the CG suggestion that STUE posted.  It is the San Bernardino
Co./Yucaipa  I have never been there and it looks great.  Won't these campgrounds be filling up pretty fast for the summer season?
