no thanks to our current administration...

but we are doing our part to stimulate this economy.  About a month ago, we were facing a minimum $2000 repair on our rolling piece of ka-ka kia sedona.  As opposed to dumping more money into this, we bought a 2008 toyota tundra crew max.

then, since we had more towing capacity, naturally we needed to increase what we were towing.  We just added a 2009 Puma 30dbss to the family.  Brought it home last week.  Next, I think we may buy a small island.

We have not made any "big" purchases, but have changed where we spend our money.  We're spending our dollars with local businesses, rather than big corporations.

For example, we shop at the local ACE Hardware that's owned by a local family rather than Home Depot or Lowes.

Now more than ever, it's important to be aware of and support your local community.

Well I started out with a new PUP, then the wife wanted new pots and pans for it, then she wanted a new screen room so I picked up a First Up gazebo, then she said we needed 2 new outdoor chairs, then I wanted to do a few mods so off to the hardware store........ugh!!! I live 45 mins from Elkhart IN and an hour from Middleberry IN ( Jacyo factory) Unemployment rate at 13% and rising. MY wife's happy to help by spending what she can......Rumours floating around about remodeling the kitchen and my son's bedroom...Im gonna be busy this summer..:eyecrazy:

I purchased a new to me PUP in January.   Not only did I pay a good amount for it which gave the seller money in his pocket to spend, I paid the sale tax, registration and had some work done on my TV.    I am sure I am also going to spend many $$$ getting the PUP set up the way I want.

Does this count? I paid my taxes so the president could give them to the banks, car manufacturers, and ceo's for their bonuses.
