Saturday Trip idea:
 
Since we are taking one of our daughters friends who has never been to Boulder Field, we are thinking if the weather is nice to do a quick trip to there on Saturday.  Quick being 1 hour each way.  Just figured I would post it in case anyone else was interested.

Hmmmm, closer to the playground, farther from the lake...Raymond decided that he wants to come with me and Jeffrey could take Kyrian with him instead of coming with us..  I put a smaller (not as high) mattress in the Cabin A the other week.  There is more clearance under the window, so Raymond should not find himself on the floor this time...last time he rolled out of bed, poor feller had a hard time getting back up, there is not much room to manuver, especially when woken up abruptly.

Note to self...when filling the fresh water, make sure to turn the pump on...so we have hot water...

Well, had a great time everyone.  Wanted to thank you guys.  Even with the rain we still had a blast with the pot luck dinner.  Leave it to us to have a fire in a rainstorm.  But, for the most part we all stayed dry until it was time to pack up.

I'll second the good time thing.

Even in the rain it was better than being home, especially given the chance to see everyone again.

Looking forward to next time--Thanksgiving, anyone?

I too  had a good time, although it could have been a longer trip.  There was not enough time to visit with everyone the way I would like to.  

Chip yes to Thanksgiving.  Before that I will be camping at Laural Hill SP, PA over the long Columbus Day weekend (October 8 to the 14), and at RB Winter SP, PA the last weekend in October.  If anyone wants to join us, you are welcome.

Sorry for not saying goodbye, but well no one was there when we packed up.  Neither of us felt good (that is another story) and the neighbors had irritating music and another had a ball game on. Not good with a sinus headache.  So after going to Cracker barrel in Frackville for Breakfast on Saturday, we packed up and left.  What we found when we got home is another story also, so it was good we did leave and go home unannounced.

It was good while I was at the park.  The rest of the story, not so good.  Thanks to Scott and Chip, I didn't pick up too much dirt in the camper, on the way home.  I am currently checking into upgrading my tires.
