Our first trip of '09!!!

I've posted about this trip a couple times but there was zero interest from anyone in this group.... anyway I'm excited about it because its our first trip out since the Halloween rally in October!!!

Have a great time!  We camped at a different campground at Lake Isabella a few years ago when our friends still had a boat but haven't been back since.  Let us know if you like this campground.

Friday was really windy.... Saturday was perfect all day... I mean picture book perfect weather!  Then Sunday it started getting windy again.

This was a new spot for us and from what I was told it was a drag race at the crack of dawn on Tursday to get.  Turns out the fishing on our side of the lake wasn't very good..... not like the spot we use to get by the Marina where we were snagging the fish left and right.  Anyway next year we have to figure out how to get back over there

It was really nice to spend some time with Shayne's family who lives there... its something we really look forward to every year

PS: Shayne couldn't figure out how to light the heater (of I should say it wouldn't start) with the propane so I'll have to post for some help with that one  :confused:

Don't feel alone most of S.Calif was blowing away last weekend.........Glad you had a good time and sorry the fish were not biting on your side of the lake.  Like Dave said maybe next year will be better.  We've been out 5 times since Oct better catch up..........Hahaaaaaa  cw
