I had some slight issues with leaking at the threads in the canvas.  This was only around the edges on the bunks.  We had pretty good rains and the edges of the sheets that touch the canvas got a little wet.  not enough to shorten the trip or ruin the expirience but does concern me enough to prevent a big issue.  Any suggestions on maintenance of this problem?

thanks in advance

I used tent seam sealer on my old dutchman camper. sold it to a freind and it still to this day no leaks

Yup, get some seam sealer and all will be right with the world. The seams are sewn with regular old cotton thread rather than a new synthetic as cotton will swell and plug the holes left from the sewing. But over the years or if the fabric gets stretched the seams can weep and seam sealer does fix the problem.

Yes,tent seam sealer will work, also for emergency stops use parrifin,or candle wax.Silacone sealer can also stop leaks.Good luck and dont let a little leak stop your camping...........

You can put a tiny bit of silicone sealer on the end of your finger and wipe it down the stitch line. That's what the canvas makers do... ;)

You also might want to check to see if your canvas has shifted causing it to be stretched. My Canvas shifted and it was hard to put the one side of my bunkend up and when it rained it leaked.
