I will be on site B-1. This is my Divisions annual "recognition" on Friday.  When it is at Killens, I try to take my camper and make it a weekend.

There are still sites left as of yesterday when I booked, on B look as well as E loop if anyone wants to join me.

Hi Paula,
We'll be near you that week! We'll be at Fort Whaley. Our friends participate in the Fireman's Convention in O.C. that week and we go along to camp and relax. Enjoy your camping!

P.S. A long time ago some friends took us from O.C. into Delaware to some really great discount shopping warehouses that blanketed both sides of a road just inside the Delaware line. Do you happen to know the area I'm remembering? I can't remember the road name/number but I'd really like to find them again!
Thanks,
Cheryl

That be the Outlets that are in Rehobeth beach.

On both sides of DE 1.

Just follow the signs to the Cape May Ferry and it will get you close.  Ft, Whaley is closer to US 113 if I remember right.

The trafficcy way would be take US 50 to OC and turn Left on Rt. 1 follow that through OC, then up the Beaches in DE.

I would take US 113 to a Road that says to Rehobeth or Lewes turn right and follow that to Rt 1.  Outlets are in Rehobeth.  Since I do not go down there a lot, I do not know the route numbers.  I know there is one to Bethany Beach, that is south of Rehobeth.

Tax free DELAWARE Shopping...our governor will cut our pay by 8% but he will not remove the "trademark" tax free shopping...

I gots a new toy I am taking to Killens to "play with", well clean and stock anyway.
We picked up a 1979 10' Jayco popup...this puppy even has AC that WORKs...Raymond is estatic...he hated giving away the 1006 (not so) delux (anymore); while most men want bigger toys, he is happy camping in a basic popup, he is MOST happy if the campground has cable TV and a 30 amp service ( for the AC)... canvas is in good shape for the age (my guess is that it is not the original canvas), they removed the curtains and there are cloth blinds. It has storage and drawers some one made over the credenza and is set up just the oppisite of the Jayco we gave away the other year. That one was rotting and needed too much work, this one seems like the frame is good...so if Raymond was not going to go to Killens with me, he is now.  beds are both fulls, so I do need a couple sets of sheets, that is a non-issue and I have loads of comforters around and a memory loft (for my side)...this one even has a 10 gallon fresh water tank (the old Jayco did not) and the hoses are holding...but the previous owner said should be replaced, it needs a new electic cover and a cover for the city water...i need to get a battery and have it hooked up to the converter, that is something that "they" took out at some point in time...

I had lunch with Tracy and the gang Yesterday in Milford on my way home and her way to Assateague.
Camped with a nurse I volunteer with, she has a small Viking popup.  Had a good time.

It took 4 of us to roll up that blamed Jayco awning. And then I did the cardnal sin...I had to pop back up the top to take out some bedding so the back would close (I rolled the canvas like I did the hybrid and that DOES NOT WORK!! on a popup...and left one latch latched...oops. Raymond and a neighbor worked on it today.  If it needs a part it will have to be ordered, the nearest Jayco dealer is down near Baltimore and they sid 2 weeks... Cunninghams (one of the service men posts at PUX) in Jeffersonville Indiana has the parts in stock, my mother is there...hmmmm my eldest son in across the river...hmmmm too bad there is a wedding in my plans (middle son, I have been hitched for 22 years to the same dude) next month or I would schedule and appointment and head west, see the family and get the popup fixed...if Raymond does not figure it out first...

Anyone here good at Jayco lift systems??? I will pay cash (just not $95/hour)
