Any thoughts or reviews on this Coleman tripod grill? http://tinyurl.com/nsh8py

I'm mostly wondering if the grill tips to one side if the items aren't centered. I'd hate for the hot dogs to roll into the fire.

But I'd also like to know how well the rest of the thing works.

Thanks.

We love our tri-pod.  It looks a little bit different then the one in your link, but very similar.  Here's a link from Amazon.  http://www.amazon.com/Coleman-Tripod-Grill-Lantern-Hanger/dp/B000MPOKRW
We have a cast iron grate that has the two legs that pull down and rest on the fire pit edges, but we hardly use this grill because you can not raise and lower the grill to adjust your heat.  We pull out the tri pod every trip.  It's a little bit of balancing act, but not to bad once you get the hang of it.  Make sure you keep a pot holder handy so you can hold the grill from swinging away from you if you need to.  I'm sure we've lost a hot dog here and there, but not bad for 50+ camping trips.  Also, I suggest you keep the box to slip it back into.  No matter how much you try to keep it clean, it will be black from the smoke.  Hope that helps!  Happy Camping!

Quick story, if I may.  When I was little, my family used to camp in a large group of friends/family each Labor and Memorial Day weekend.  One of the highlights of the weekend was the great ribs cookout.  My mother made a good homemade sauce and would bring a big batch of it.  We would pull a bunch of fire rings from the some of the sites into a middle area. (well, my dad and the others, I was a bit young to be playing with fire.) They'd set up about 4 or 5 tripod grills and load them up with baby back ribs.   So I guess to answer the question, they were sturdy enough for a small army's worth of ribs.
