I really don't want ot haul firewood all the way up there, so have been thinking of buying when we get there.  Thought about getting some delivered to the CG.  What do you think?

We have 13 families interested = $65

I will not get there till sat noonish, so if someone wants to take on the fun of picking it up and paying by check, I can collect when I get there?  Or you can send a can around the fire on friday night...

Heres the reply from the place in Santa Cruz
"Hello Mr. Kutz-
Here at Paradise Landscape we would be more than happy to accomodate all of your firewood needs for your trip. We would be able to offer you $54 a truck load for your Toyota Tacoma and if you would like two truck loads filled up we can do it for $100 out the door. Please let us know and we gladly accept both cash or check for your purchase. Thank you for contacting Paradise Landscape for your summer needs.
Sincerely,

just to give you a visual..2 of my plastic tubs I use for firewood is 1/8

I was going to bring a tub up since it's already paid for but I could save it for labor day...hmmmm gotta think about that...those prices are pretty good BTW...either way I can pitch in a buck or 2

Count us in for a donation.  How about all families pitch in $5/family...think about this...a bundle at the market is $5-6...so this way, we get more firewood, delivered, and no one has to haul it up or go buy it.

We are leaving Sat. the 25th to start our trip and we won't have extra by then, so we were going to have to buy some anyway.

We would like to contribute to the firewood fund too.  $5-$10 is hecka cheap for firewood.

Count us in to contribute.  I will bring some too.  Let me know.

Hoagie

If campground management allows it, this could be a great idea. I assume we are talking about using this wood for the communal "Dee-struction" fire at the group site? If each camper chips in $5 we'd have enough to buy 1/4 cord and then some of the hardwood mix.
Count us in for $5.
